You have this "to-do" list that just keeps getting longer, deadlines to meet and a house that needs cleaning. We all have an agenda and although it may be prioritized there is always something that gets overlooked or added in the #1 slot. That sounds all too familiar for me! I decided to take action, reduce my list and live for my family and dreams. It is said that the first thing you see when you wake up and the last thing you see before going to bed influences your thought process. A disorganized home equals disorganized thoughts. Here are three simple steps to jump start your environment:
Step 1: Get rid of all items in your home that have not been used in the past 6 months
*you can donate them or give them away to people you know
* avoid throwing them out unless they are damaged, it is safer on the environment
Step 2: Place items in categories then in cabinets, for the products that are used frequently, or bins for those seasonal items.
Step 3: Remove any items that are blocking doorways, walk ways, or windows.
* by obstructing entrance ways and windows you are allowing your self to be closed in.
* light and airy allows thoughts and energy to flow freely.
